Leighton is the first goalie since Bernie Parent to win back to back shut out games for the Flyers.
Next stop, Montreal - can we actually sweep them with a shut out on each game? Now that's a sweet big dream I'd like to see come true!

Flyers are the better team, imho. It's their series to lose at this point.

Don Cherry called it. Flyers over the Blackhawks in 6. Don Cherry, in case some of you do not know, commentated during hockey night in canada's intermission reports for pretty much as long as I can remember. He has damn closely called the last two decades of Stanley Cup Champions. I think he's better than 75 %.

Well, I got nervous that we were going to blow this - again but last night made me smile. ANOTHER shut out game!
Back to Philly tomorrow and if we shut them out again, I'll be tingly thrilled for a week!
It's looking like Chicago is going to win their series against the Sharks. Can the Sharks pull off a win in 7 like we did to Boston? Who knows!? All I know is that shiny prize is getting closer and closer to the City of Brotherly Love.

Chicago won the series today. Sharks are out.
Now all I need is a miracle to pass along to my Flyers to use. Fuckers have been tormenting me since 1975. I want that cup!
