State quaters - twisteroo - 04-30-2010

You know those state quarters that have been coming out for like the past 10 years? Has anyone seen a Guam quarter? Or how about a puerto rico quarter even? Just wondering.

I got Mariana Islands quarter the other day

Do they exist? Is there a list of what quarters are minted at the US Mint website or someplace else?

Why would they mint coins labeled "state quarters" that are not actual states?

Hey, did you hear they are working out putting a vote to the Puerto Rican people if they want to become an official state?

Puerto Rico will never become a state...if they are smart.

I'm thinking that the Mariana Islands quarter might be what I'm looking for.

And a quick google says NO!!

My aunt sent a board, folds out with a map of North Amercia with all the States marked out for each year a new quarter wass produced.
It was to be complete by 2008.
The first in 1999 were easy Delaware, Pennsylania, Georgia and Connecticut, we had one member of the family somewhere there at the time.
Both Christine and Philip would get quarters sent to them periodically by family to add to the collection. It got harder the further west the coins went.
Christine's college friend, Justin, was at Harvard and did really well for us on campus and in the airports.

Still missing Montana, Wyoming, Arizona on both boards and New Mexico and Oklahoma still on Phil's.

If anyone can help?

I like the fact that many got involved in coin collecting through that program. I have my state quarters in deep cameo NGC the rest ...eh. Oklahoma has the lowest mintage with 416,600,000 the Montana design with the skull is my favorite.

I saved them for awhile, then just spend them, I save the dollar president coins, not to collect, but just another way to save.
