Ladies - shoulder bag solution! - Twitchin Kitten - 04-21-2010

I know many of you have all kinds of handbags you don't use because they're a pain in the ass due to slipping off your shoulder. Well, when I had my horses I had a product that you rubbed on the leather or your legs to give you a nice grip on the seat.

I had been looking for this stuff for months now with the wrong name! Well that little bell in my head came clanging away today and I remembered it wasn't Saddle Tack but Saddle Tite!

I found the cheapest place to get it at Just For Ponies - I should be getting mine in a couple of days. This stuff is a miracle to keep your bag stuck to your shoulder!

Not really related but just my thought.

Have you ever noticed how a bicycle jersey has three pockets across the lower back, just above your butt? Those are the handiest damn pockets. I think every shirt should have three pockets across the back like that.

Carry on with your wimmens chat.

Great idea!!
I use short handles for my everyday bag.
I only an over the shoulder one when I travel. Then I just use a really small bag and put it in my carryone bag.

You women carry too much shit in those bags anyway, carry about half of that crap and it won't slip.

I don't carry too many things in mine. Most times I'm carrying stuff Matt asks me to hold or better yet, when we go to the city and can't keep stuff in the car to go back for, I have a nice leather backpack and stuff tons of stuff in there!

It's the leather that is slippery. But you can use that stuff on nearly anything that is slippery. Matt uses it on his guitar straps to keep his bass where he wants it.

Back packs are nice.

I'm starting to resent my purse and mostly just carry my gym bag with my purse in that.

Usually, if it don't fit in one back pocket and one front pocket, I don't carry it.
Alright, I do have saddle bags on one of my bicycles for carrying my lunch and stuff to work.
