They get shoved onto the trike section at Bike Night (in 3 weeks!) and not popular. I've only seen one and it belongs to a bloke in the next road who is the chairman for the Arrowheads, the local Trike club. He has four or five trikes and I've only seen it on the road once.
It would not be accepted for a bike test.

I can just picture the CanAm (Polaris really) designers half sloshed on a Friday night at their favorite watering hole coming up with this thing.
"Hey hey guys....I jusht got a great fucking idea!"

"What if we made a trike but put the single wheel in the BACK? I'll bet thereshh shome fuggin' yuppies that would actually buy the fuckin' thingsh.!"
"Yeah.....ok....let'sh pitch it to manegement and markeding. I'm shhhhure that'll go over!"

Come Monday one of them is relating this (intended to be humorous) story to his marketing/management schlub buddy and the fucker actually kicks it upstairs! Much to everyone's surprise they decide to go with it!

I think they were created for someone's pansy-assed boy who never could get the hang of his dirt bike with two wheels, so when he got tired of dirt on those three or four wheel things, they designed this for him and convinced him it's cool and he's not a retard for never mastering two wheels. I bet his bicycle still has training wheels on it.
Those three and four wheel things are farm vehicles as far as I'm concerned.
