Brilliant news- love a ride (since my bike failed on the horn not working, so Whistle hand jestures are much more effective!)

Another night out!
A fabulous night out with the boys, I didn't realise I was the only female in the party, to see Australian Pink Floyd (if you get a chance you must see). Great seats, all front row balcony, perfect. Jon insisted I had a middle seat too.
We all drive Saabs (Jon services them) except Nick who sold his and regrets it. He 'had' to tell me about a house with old cars in the drive. As Jon was dropping me off Nick was saying 'this is the house just up here, oh, its your house' Jeff couldn't stop laughing and slid off the leather seats onto the floor (not a big bloke).
I want a 900 Cabrio now Rolleyes

I'm off to a sober meeting at the hospital with the boss now wot

I'm swapping out winter/summer laundry all day. I hate doing laundry of any sort. It's boring, tedious and depressing. So many clothes that need to be "replaced" and no money to go shopping.

I have to go four hours north to make some decisions for my dad who may or may not have Parkinsons. It sucks being a grown up.

Yeah, it does suck being a grown up. I still think like I did when I was about 15 though.

Safe journey.
My mother has Parkinson's, it affects her right side very badly at present. The dreadful thing with Parkinson's is it mimics other conditions so can get misdiagnosed. My mother-in-law was thought to have Parkinson's until she was tested (I questioned it because it didn't fit my mother's symptoms). She had a rare form of Dementia Lobies Bodies (I think it was called).

I hope the right thing gets arranged for your father, the treatments avialable are so much better than the old fashioned Dopamine treatments. He must keep busy and exercise that is the only way to combat it, even if it all seems too much effort, he must do it, or the muscles will stiffen beyond help.
Good Luck Good

Good luck Jammin. It does suck to be a grown-up.

From looking back, this has been going on about two years or more. People get old and they slow down, and you write alot off to old age. Thanks for the feedback of exercise. That will be "interesting".

He goes to the neurologist May 21st so we will have some answers soon. He is currently in a temp. nursing home getting re-hab and getting "cleaned up" etc. He is 79 and has always lived on his own. A cantankerous old cuss to be sure.

Thanks to everyone else for the wishes.

Twist-I know what you mean: I'm too young for this shit!!!!

Today is my day off for this week, it's 5:15am, I've been up for 45 minutes, I have one cup of coffee in me, I can hear the morning crew of birds singing and the cats are back in bed for their after breakfast nap. It's 40 degrees out and supposed to be a rainy crappy day.

Jamminitin, I know, things are what they are, but I'm sure you can and will do what is right and what is best. Sometimes when you have to make a tough decision concerning someone else you worry too much about people's opinions of you for your choices. Just do what is right and be OK with it.
I don't really know your situation, I don't know what you are going though, but be stong and take care of business.
