RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twilla - 04-14-2010 These are pretty cool, they have an entire plot to them and as you complete each scene, the story advances. Many of them require you to use one of the objects as a tool somewhere so you need to remember what's in your inventory. Shit, I probably just spent 10 hours (total) playing that damn Settlement: Colossus... I couldn't stop playing the stupid thing. Two hours ain't nothin'. Have you ever tried a 'big file game'? I just don't get those, I wander around helplessly till my patience runs out. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - twisteroo - 04-14-2010 Get off your ass and go back to work, faker!! I'll have to check out Settlement. I don't like the walkabout ones. I like the puzzles and hidden object games. Let me know if you want any of the Agatha Christie games or Dream Chronicles. I prefer hidden object games to most men. I prefer hiding objects with men- okay-one man, but it didn't sound as good. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - twisteroo - 04-15-2010 I've played that game, it's called hide the sausage. RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 04-15-2010 I thought it was Hide the Salami. Did you get gypped and only wound up with a little sausage? RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twilla - 04-15-2010 That was weird... I'm lying on my bed with my laptop and all of a sudden it feels like something big is outside pushing against the building several times... enough that I could hear creaking. I've never felt an earthquake do that before, if that's what it was. And I can't imagine what else it could've been. |
