I have been catching up on Lost. Sooooo, I watch every episode from seasons 1-5, and am SUPER excited to watch the first episode of season 6 only to find it EXPIRED on Hulu. &^$*! Now I have to wait until season 6 ends and buy it. I'm so pissed and let down.

I know how much spelling errors annoy LC but people that purposely spell weird bug me. Why the hell would someone write "Hoo iss dis?"? Grrr....

Another one is a guy that chose the name Dewey2Me1MoThyme. That makes me feel stabby.

feeble attempts at writing in some 'dialect' look stupid to me too. i think the last person who did that effectively was Mark Twain.

sheesh TK, me too, i hate going out in nasty weather! it's rainy, cold, windy, crappy and i lost power once this morning already. watch out for the jerks!

Feeling 'stabby' eh? What about that, World Federation Wrestling, nonsense! Two overfed grunters having you believe it's genuine, when we all know it's rigged. How on earth this can be called serious sport when it doesn't have two semi-naked women thrashing around in mud or jello.

......In my opinion, the other just trivialises a great sporting occasion.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 03-29-2010

Well I'm back and $175 poorer.

Don't you just love it when you get a price on the phone of $50 and its 3x's as much when you get there?

You better believe I bitched and bitched loudly about that. They're charging for follow up exams now! Bitch behind the counter tried to tell me they always charged for follow ups. Bullshit. I got 20 years of record keeping from the same vet to prove that.

I miss my smiley inserter. I can't find one that works on a Mac.

Dylan should code one and sell it. He'll make a mint on it.

Professional wrestling is a sport, not a competitive sport like boxing but a sport never the less.

Is the outcome of bouts prearranged? well duh! of course they are, are their moves in the ring planned?, to a point, there will be one or two "high spot" moves prearranged along with the outcome but most of what goes on in the ring is spontaneously "called" by the participants, like freeform jazz musicians riffing off each other.

Professional wrestling is also very dangerous, in the late 80's-early 90's Lloyds of London gave loads of pro wrestlers lucrative insurance policies thinking to themselves "It's all fake we won't get many claims!" but it turned out the joke was on them. Pro wrestling can be extremely dangerous if moves are not performed correctly, one wrong piledriver and you could be spending the rest of your life eating your meals with a straw. As dozens of claims came in from pro wrestlers for broken bones, concussions, head injuries, spinal injuries, paralysis etc, Lloyds realised they had made a big mistake underestimating professional wrestling.

I've been in a wrestling ring, when you get picked up and slammed on your back correctly it still hurts, the ring is not a trampoline, when you get slapped across the chest it hurts, when you get hit on the head with a metal chair, you get hit on the head with a metal chair, there are no "fake" metal chairs. When you bleed, you bleed for real even if the wound is self inflicted the blood is real.

Check out Mickey Rourke in the film "The Wrestler" to see what the long term physical and emotional effects of a career in pro-wrestling can have on your body and mind. Want to enjoy family life?, don't become a pro wrestler because you are on the road nearly every single day, week after week, month after month, year after year, it never ends.
