RE: Scruffy says.... - Twitchin Kitten - 09-09-2010 "Get" more kids? Do you get your kids in Kids R Us? Yes Chucky is the orange one. I've named the cats all kinds of names from people to 'cat' names. It all depends on their personality. Most wind up with goofy nicknames they get called by more often than their given names. Cat is not unusual. I had one named Girl Cat. There was no Boy Cat though to match her. I wound up calling her Dolly in the end. Mikki has ventured onto my computer desk now. She's sitting to my right. Bitch better not think of pissing on my stuff. She did pee in the box again so I'm hoping it's just a fluke of not feeling well that she peed in the food dish. RE: Scruffy says.... - twisteroo - 09-09-2010 Damnit....let me look through 10,000 pictures real quick. RE: Scruffy says.... - Jamminitin - 09-09-2010 I only said "get" because I know I won't "have" any. I mean, if I found a stray kid on my doorstep or something I would take it in....if I HAD to.
RE: Scruffy says.... - twisteroo - 09-09-2010 This was Mr. Orange, think resivour dogs, anyway he was an older cat who showed up and stuck around. He was friendly right from the start and just needed a place to live and some food. He was sick, I took him to the vet, got his shots and got him some medicine and he was fine. During the winter he got killed in the road. Dumb fucking cat, how do they get to be an old cat and then do that? I felt bad, but he pissed me off by getting killed. I didn't even go pick him up. Although I feel bad about not bringing him back home too.

RE: Scruffy says.... - Rhubarb - 09-09-2010 I'm on a day off tomorrow. I promised to take my mum's cat to the vets 'Fat Cat Club'. Dad told me he watched Pip sitting on the patio minding his own business when a full size dog fox came marching down the garden path and right up to Pip.....who bopped him on the nose. Dad was well impressed having refereed at boxing matches. He said the fox turned tailed and shot off back up the garden with Pip belting after him! So Pip is doing the exercises the vet instructed, it's just dad is still feeding him! RE: Scruffy says.... - Twitchin Kitten - 09-09-2010 Mr. Orange went into the road because he probably went senile. It is quite common. RE: Scruffy says.... - twisteroo - 09-09-2010 I still feel bad about not picking him up. There was one, he was only around her for a short time, I don't even remember if he ever even had a reason to get to the vet. He got himself killed in the road one night during the winter. We found him on the way to work in the morning. I carried him around in the back of my truck for a day or so then dropped him off at the vet's and they kept him in the freezer for a fee till it warmed up and I could dig a hole and bring him home. I know, I'm a fucking sap. RE: Scruffy says.... - Twitchin Kitten - 09-09-2010 I've done the same thing. Well, not at the vet but in a junk freezer in the shed. RE: Scruffy says.... - twisteroo - 09-10-2010 If I remember right it was that time of year when it was warm one day and cold the next, we have nothing but the little freezer above the fridge, and he sure the hell wasn't going in there. I know where he is buried and I do have pics of him somewhere. He was one of those pushy cats, into everything, just had to be your buddy and under your feet all the time. He was pure white. |
