RE: Upright Bass Restoration - LKTraz - 09-29-2013 Yeah......string tension will reveal any weak spots for sure. It's good that they showed up while he still has it and can shore it up. It will all be worth it when it's done and fully right and tight! RE: Upright Bass Restoration - Twitchin Kitten - 07-24-2014 This beast is finally home. Took long enough huh? It was kinda hard catching Kenny and keeping him still long enough to pick it up. Anyway, LK or anyone else who can help, can you link me up with some sites that sell a nice cover for this thing? It's a full size double bass and a soft case for now will suffice. The only ones I've found are marked 3/4 and I don't think that's good. I also only looked on Amazon and am not sure where else to look. Found one hard case but I'm not spending $550+ right now. RE: Upright Bass Restoration - AnthonyG - 07-26-2014 Freehold music might be a place to try to get resources. Not the greatest music shop but the people there are pretty knowledgeable and can find you someone that will make one or who sells what you want. |
