RE: Tea - Gunnen4u - 09-22-2011 I am at the campus all day and don't wish to pack the water boiler around everywhere? ![]() (09-22-2011, 06:47 PM)Gunnen4u Wrote: Yea, cannot avail myself of this magical thing like I usually do when I am in school all day: RE: Tea - Twitchin Kitten - 09-22-2011 I gather you don't have a locker to keep it in and just lug it out while you're spending hours in the library studying? I was thinking along the lines of "if you can plug in your laptop to use it, why not that hot pot thing right next to it?" kind of mentality. Then you could chug tea the whole time and then stow it back in your locker when done. Of course this is providing the lay of the "land" is suitable for this. RE: Tea - Gunnen4u - 09-22-2011 Equally a pain in the ass, and I do not have lockers at my campus. I use the press mug I posted about a few posts ago. Hot water is always there at the coffee shop. Simple, easy and can take it to class.. RE: Tea - Twitchin Kitten - 09-23-2011 Gotcha. RE: Tea - Aurora Moon - 09-25-2011 Chai is the number one tea for me. following behind is the fruit teas (orange, raspberry, etc) and tied in third place is Green and white tea. The best tea brands here seem to be Cesistal seasonings, Tetley, Smiths Tea. those I can get in stores here. the worst tea brand? Bigelow's, hands down. RE: Tea - Rhubarb - 09-26-2011 Chai ..yes that is good. We have that sometimes. The best green tea we have ever had was at 30,000 feet over The Urals. The aircraft may have been old but the service was 100% perfect. Never managed to get the same tea since, even the tea in the Chinese Supermarket locally didn't match up. Guess it was it is all in the water and preparation. RE: Tea - Aurora Moon - 09-27-2011 apparently, people are making champagne out of tea now. some of them are non-alcoholic. have you guys heard of it? |
