Oh lol I washed the car this weekend too. Have to do shit like that before 8 AM when it's so hot out. It's like a steam bath here. Everyone's bitching, I'm loving it! My skin is a lovely caramel color and my tattoo artist is going to yell at me when he sees me! lol

When you tan shortly after a tattoo is done or recolored it speeds up the fading process so it actually works in his favor. Your tattoo fades sooner than expected and he gets to recolor it and make more money.

Well too bad for me then I guess. I can't help getting tan. I don't sit out and purposefully tan. So, unless I stay inside or wear long sleeves in 100º weather all summer I guess I'm fucked.

Lol the risk at really fading the tattoo is in the first few months if I remember correctly from what I read. The main outline for you piece was done a while ago correct? That part should not be at risk, I guess the only part at risk would be the shading because you had that done semi recently.

Anthony, I'm not worried about fading ink or tans. Some of my ink is over 20 years old and the color is still bright. It's all how you take care of it and who does the work.
