RE: The Sump Pump Project - Twitchin Kitten - 12-20-2014 That would be ideal but I'm not going to invest that much time and effort into a house I want to move out of. But, from where I sit, you're perfectly welcome to come do that for me. RE: The Sump Pump Project - twisteroo - 12-20-2014 I can also suggest other home improvements for anyone willing to listen. Had Matt hit Home Depot for two 10' bags of these Quick Dam things. Gotta say they are brilliant! They actually will 'deflate' and dry out during dry spells and rejuvenate when wet again. The bag says you can keep them in place long term too! So, they'll stay there until the spring if they hold true to their word. RE: The Sump Pump Project - twisteroo - 12-25-2014 [Cough]TRENCHES!!![/Cough] RE: The Sump Pump Project - Twitchin Kitten - 12-25-2014 It's been a torrent for two days. It figures that hardly any water came in. The floor is a bit wet, but nothing has reached the bucket. NOT. A. DROP. We'll see what we come home to tonight. Shaddap about the trenches |
