Yeah, that was it, muriatic acid, probably the part of my brain that would have remembered that was burned out by that stuff.
We use some pretty nasty stuff at work, you know the kind of shit that if you mix it together you could kill a large village in India. Like Lk said the Nazis used that shit.
Caustic acid is the nasty shit. Nasty, nasty, nasty....the other shit will kind of wash off. Caustic will fuck you up if you don't get it off quick enough.
You see on the news about these acid attacks on women lately? That shit is fucked. I do wonder what kind of acid they are using and where they are getting it. You should just get the death penalty for for doing that shit.

I agree. That was all over the news yesterday of that latest attack I guess.
There are a lot of acids that are available to the consumer and I bet if you mix it with something like ammonia or another caustic acid, you get something nasty.
Every time I watch the news it only makes me feel good about caring more about animals than [most] people.

I believe the acid attacks are with common sulfuric acid (car batteries). TRULY nasty people would mix acid and oil. Acid for the corrosive effect and oil for adhesion/viscosity. That way it sticks on more and coats thicker making it harder to remove thus causing more damage.
