I've decided that yoga pants can be almost as hot as boy shorts.

That stuff in the theater is nasty! So is that microwave stuff. No no no no! You have to make it yourself from scratch with no chemical mystery butter on top.

And, what the hell is ButterKist? Do I want to know?

Mark has tried to prove the stuff is edible, making it at home. Last lot I think he gave up and let Christine and me thread it up as decorations.

ButterKist was the stuff came in a big bag prepacked, I never got too close but Mark says it was toffee coated, smelt of baby puke. The bags must have carried a health warning.

Almost? Are we talking really who is actually in the pants?

You take driver exam after exam as a young person and they drill into your head that driving is a privilege and not a right, but when it comes time to have the elderly scrutinized a little more, they scream bloody murder that their rights are violated.

I live surrounded by senior communities and I can tell you that I see hundreds of these over 80's driving, white knuckled behind the wheel and hardly able to see over the dash.

What's even funnier is our book says they must take an exam every couple years to prove they can drive and they're able to skip this with a mail in license renewal! WTF?
That reminds me of my mom. When she went in for a her license renewal once, she went through it all no problem. Right before they give you your new license, they ask you three questions. I know one is about your license being revoked in any other state, can't remember the third one. The one that was an issue was 'has anything medically happened in the last year to make it unsafe for you to drive?' My mom said yes. So he said he couldnt give her her license. She was pissed! I told her what do you expect? You said yes! After about three months, they decided that just one car for two retired people was ok, and sold her car.

Good looking popcorn too.

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twitchin Kitten - 02-02-2012

Thanks Biker.

The second question they ask is one of two possibilities:

Did they get eyeglasses or has an eyeglass prescription changed since the last renewal or,
Were you ever convicted of a crime in any other state. I'm betting it was the eyeglasses.

My mom is the first to dictate who can do what with their cars (granny wanted to choke her on more than one occasion!) and I predict she's going to be wretched and stubborn when she can no longer drive.

I missed the trivia game tonight, dammit! My only excuse is I came home looking for the 4 Boston/Nashville hockey tickets at the garden that I have for next Saturday and they were not in my usual spot, so I started freaking out and tore apart my desk and shelves looking for them.............I just found them tacked up on my cork board behind my kids drawing, I swear I had looked there already. I had to get my parking place today its a day game. Punish Holy crap, I was freaking out! .........sorry
