I'm hoping we get enough back to pay off the Care Credit I took out for Daisy's leg and Goliath's euthanasia. Sad

Hysterical Matt just got an email invitation to join Toms River Fitness for Women. I wonder if they know something I don't know? wot

Every time I see a commercial for Papa John's pizza it makes me throw up in my mouth a little. Man, that shit looks nasty.

Did you guys know that brussel sprouts explode in the microwave?

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - twisteroo - 02-04-2011

I did not know that but will go try it right now.

It makes a god awful mess too. I was reheating a small amount of leftovers and we kept hearing POP! POP! POP! POP!
Went to look and lo and behold! A green leafy mess and three left on the plate with their innards blown to bits.

Was pretty funny but disappointing. I wanted the sprouts!

I spent some of my tax return online yesterday (I would have bought this anyway, actually)

3 x Garlic Gomasio (Sesame Salt), Organic = $8.79
1 x Red Wine Vinegar = $2.15
1 x Toasted Sesame Oil = $4.58
1 x Shiitake Mushrooms, Dried Sliced = $8.18
1 x Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, Spanish = $8.72
1 x Red Quinoa, Organic = $6.44

Outstanding prices and the shipping was only about $9.

Not bad on the olive oil at all. Full quart? Half gallon?

Where did you buy? A special store for this stuff or Amazon? You'd be surprised what they sell there! I usually wind up price comparing because sometimes the better deal is through them.

I'm gathering these things are not readily available in stores by you. I know that stuff is hard enough to find here. You won't believe how tickled I was when that Turkish guy opened that Mediterranean market here!

RE: The Completely Pointless Thread - Twilla - 02-05-2011

Amazon only sells this vendor is bulk and I didn't really want to buy 24 bottles of that sea salt stuff... so I went directly to the vendor's site: http://www.edenfoods.com/

I'm sure the olive oil and vinegar are available here but I figured I'd get it all at once since the shipping charge was the same.
