Get eye protection for G-d's sake. When you reach our age, healing is no longer taken for granted. It takes much longer.
Last year I was using my table saw, and not wearing my shop glasses and a chip hit the cornea of my right eye. It wouldn't come out, and the next day I had to go to the opthamologist, and have it removed, where it has migrated inside my eyelid. It took me months for the damned thing to heal, because I also have dry eye syndrome. Your eyes are the most important part of your body to protect.
You shouldn't be painting, sawing, or other things that can cause an object to strike your cornea. Geeze..............................

John is right - I have some high-end ballistic glasses I got from the Army I wear all the time when doing anything that could hurt my eyes. I have tons of replacement lens for them too, so the frames have thousands of miles on them as it were. Being able to heal notwithstanding, it is always a good policy to wear them,

There was an discussion about the Myth that young boys are able to take care of themselves better than girls regarding sex abuse and stuff, and how that myth can negatively affect boys later in life... because they feel that they were somehow less of a man for not being able to fight off any unwanted attentions.
the video was about whenever porn was really bad for young kids, espeically young boys... and then it brought up how pedophiles use porn tapes to groom kids into being more open to sex with adults.
Then we had to take it to pm, since how the comments sections were too limiting.. Then this was what he had to tell me in pm:

Yeah, I stopped giving a shit what he cared about anymore after he said that. He was saying, earlier in the comments section before that outburst, that Porn was good for boys young as 7 and that it had no negative effect on any boy. Because hey, he watched porn when he was 8 and he came out okay. So of course his own expernices applies to every boy out there!!
and then he basically said that Boys were designed differently than girls, so they had a easier time with sexual abuse. Um, how do he know this? So of course I had to disagree with him, and I provided him links to websites made by psychologists and websites made by male victims of sex abuse for other men out there.

Well, he is an idiot because male rape is a common, and highly effective, way of establishing dominance over those perceived as lesser beings in the Middle East for example.
When T.E. Lawrence was captured by the Turks while leading the Arab Army in their revolt during World War One, he was raped by the prison commander in order to dehumanize and belittle Lawrence. Lawrence struggled with that singular incident the rest of his life till he was killed in a motorcycle accident. He fits of depression, the inability to cope with peacetime conditions, and problems with intimacy concerning women. The same problems endemic to many men who suffered sexual abuse.
I think this guy needs to experience or just see sexual abuse in the Middle East. Maybe he'll have an awakening to what it really does.
Of course, sexual abuse tends to not be perceived as such by teenage males in school from their teachers. But male on male rape is pretty terrible.
As for porn, I found it enlightening myself during my early formative years, and credit it with the passing of many hours of my life when literally, there was nothing else for me to do.

Hah, I basically almost said the same things you said here to him before you posted.
I brought up how rape against men was used as a tool during wartime, etc... and so on forth. he didn't just listen.
on the porn front--
I'm of the mind that it's perfectly normal for teenagers to want to look at porn... however I'm not so sure about boys under 13 years old. After all, a lot of porn can be kind of unrealistic. It's like Hollywood without the guns and stuff.
for instance: Hollywood already have adult people believing stupid gun myths. Such as: guns go off if they're dropped.
So if adult people actually believes what Hollywood tells them about guns, then imagine what some extremely young boy or girl would believe about sex.
like if he saw some guy yank a girl's hair while he was riding her doggy-style. and thought that hair-pulling was a natural part of sex?
or, even more hilarious, what if some female virgin really thought that all boys like having their ass fingered while they receive a blow-job from a girl?
I visualize pissed off boyfriends and girlfriends for those kids in the future.
Then there's the more hardcore porn which can have some disturbing contents (you know the ones I'm talking about)....
so yeah, I think it's just better for porn to be restricted in some way until they're old enough to know the difference between fiction and reality.

yeah, cue a pissed off girlfriend going "what the hell were you thinking?! that sort of thing may get you off but I don't like getting hurt!"
I personally don't mind a little pain myself but I've known prudes who were adverse to that sort of thing as seeing they think it's somehow dehumanizing to women.

Several of our clients at work took to drugs because of this. My mother informed me only after my Great aunt died, her grandson took his own life because of an incident in his childhood

This explains a lot about the way he lived in his cottage at Clouds Hill. His home is open to the public in the summer months (all of a 20 minute ride from home). He had one room totally dedicated to protecting his food and sleeping, where he locked himself in. The rest of the cottage is almost like a library with a day-bed in one library where he lay to read, by the only real window. The other windows were blocked out.
To me, this is a man wrestling with demons.
