Did I say anywhere that *I* read bad reviews? I just know that ONE of the new Infrared ovens got VERY bad reviews because the dome kept cracking from normal usage. I *THINK* it was the NuWave. Of course, they may have fixed that issue since. So, I was asking IF this is the one
RE: Nuwave Oven - Jamminitin - 03-05-2010 I had one of those things and i thought it took too long to cook things and the food wasn't all that flavorful.....could have been the cook but I doubt it.
RE: Nuwave Oven - Greeneyesofblue - 03-05-2010 Hmmm....sounds interesting. When are you going to try it? My ovens have the convection options and I love it. I have never heard of these sort of ovens. I have never heard of these sort of ovens. How do you like convection? I've heard good and bad. RE: Nuwave Oven - Loricat - 03-08-2010 I made a pork roast yesterday and it was delish! It was frozen and only too 1 and a 1/2 hours. Not bad. It was super juicy and the outside was nice and brown. I have chicken breasts and pork chops I am going to make this week. As for seasoning, of course it's difficult to season a frozen roast. So once it thawed, I paused the oven and put some fresh garlic, sea salt, and pepper on it. It was very good. RE: Nuwave Oven - Twilla - 03-08-2010 Sorry, I lost track of everything else you posted when I read this: Loricat Wrote:I have chicken breasts and pork chops.

I haven't had them very long, but I can't imagine ever not having them again! They make the most perfectly baked cookies. Everything else cooks faster and at a lower temp. I love, love, love them so far! The convection is great for baked goods and the convection roast makes the meat crisp and browned on the outside and tender in the inside in half the time of a regular oven. |
