Well, organized labor is typically the purview of the leftists, not the libertarian. And to be honest, I don't know what either 'party line' may be. So I would not know if you followed it! Lol!

Being from the right side of the political fence where typically there is disdain for unions I move a little more to the center but it's conditional.

I have no beef with unions provided they aren't "piggy at the trough" unions. The biggest piggy I can think of is the UAW. They have been the ruination of the auto industry.

Unions did have a place at one time but many of them now are no longer relevent due to two big factors. There are now labor laws that do the same thing for workers that unions once did but at NO COST (relatively) to workers. The other factor is the influx of illegal immigrant workers.

Well that union also helps where when you need to go pee and you're told no, you can just say fuck you and go pee without losing your job. That is a very long list of factories and I can't believe none of them are unionized. I still think this story stinks. Something like this would be main stream media and with that long list, even more so.

For the most part the union only protects the worthless and the weak. If you show up, on time, ready to work and actually do work, the union is almost worthless.

Union or not, I would walk away to go take a piss. I'm not working in a fucking rice paddy or in a sweat shop in Bangladesh. America!!!  Where I can piss when I want, where I want!!! Hiney

Also the quote buttons and stuff are confusing as hell, or maybe doesn't work.

OK, I think I got it....you gotta click the quote button and then the reply button.
It used to be that you could click the quote button and then the quote would show up at the bottom in the quick reply.  Dog

It still does, you just have to look for the little line at the bottom of the box that says, " quote these posts now" . Either way works though, just as before. You can still multiple quote too. They made it so its too difficult to make custom buttons. The words now are generated over a background color.

I'm not fond the f the new theme coding at all.
