Well yes I didn't count for anomalies but.......as you stated, even in the case of anomolous DNA it still won't change from what they were born with regardless of what they choose to believe.
I really like where the hippie idiots say that you know you are human because your parents told you that you were. As if telling a child they are a reptile will make it so?
