Daniels like the Connery and Moore has that quiet air about him that makes it work. I bet it's due to his attitude in his private life that he carries over onto the screen for the character.

Its because he's really British Tongue

Is this thing still continuing? And are they now inventing new titles, since Fleming only wrote just so many novels?

Yes and No... The 3 latest movies, with Daniel Craig as Bond, are based on Ian Flemmings' oldest works that were never made into movies back in the day. Not just novels, but short stories too. I'm curious to see where they'll go next tbh.

As for the books, I've got most of them in my e-Book collection Wink

Oh, and Per IMDB, there are already 2 more Bond Films in the works:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2379713/
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2382320/

With Daniel Craig slated to play Bond.

Of course, since they're only "announced", take it with a grain of salt.

I may grab your ebooks Dylan. I've only read On Her Majesty's Secret Service and that was when I was like 13. I still have the original hard cover copy!

I heard the first three were old stories and then I heard that account was bunk. So, Now I'd rather read them for myself Smile

RE: Skyfall - Rhubarb - 11-12-2012

I'm only out of the country for 3 days and I find you all fighting over what is a very British institution.

I've followed the films as I see as many of you.

Skyfall was a dark personal return to Bond as a man not only dedicated to his country and unfortunately TK he has no charm or charisma other than to get close to his target. He is a hit-man remember.

Shame on you for the 'spoiler' Stirthepot
Have you not seen Mousetrap?

And as for Daniel? Perfectly cast.....after Sean Connery-

Well, I know at least one of the 3 Daniel Craig movies is based on a short story written for a magazine, so I don't have that Wink
