So far it's all of the above.
I too place liars and thieves at the very top of my list.
Something that drives me up a wall is those who insist on their being right even when confronted with cold, hard and irrefutable evidence that they are wrong! I suppose you could classify them as "convinced" as opposed to conceited or arrogant although they are usually both of those as well.
Hmmmmm......I guess that means you can add arrogance and conceit to my list then.

OOH, I'm guilty of that kind of stubbornness BUT - and this is a big but - it's on purpose just to bust balls. That's usually in a situation that requires a little levity. I am always the first to admit I'm wrong.

With me, if someone insists that I'm wrong then I set out to get evidence to prove otherwise. Should I be incorrect then I'll freely admit it. BUT......when I come up with hard evidence that I'm correct then why is it so hard for some people to accept that they were wrong?
I mean shit......someone argues that the sky is green and I take them outside and SHOW them it isn't then what's the point in insisting otherwise? I suppose it's a matter of being butthurt from that point.

Philosophical question aside, at that point personal perception is moot. Reason? You would have grown up learning that the hue that you personally perceive is blue and therefore regardless of whether I would see it as green through your eyes YOU would still identify it as blue.
