RE: Not Small Not Caged - Rhubarb - 10-01-2012 Just remembered this Woody and Rosy were caught up in the Myxomatosis epidemic and had to be pts in September. I've had Mr Pickles staying with me for a month another Rex to try to avoid the virus. Now the weather has turned it looks as if everything is back to normal although Sarah lost 30 rabbits in the epidemic, just as the odds predicted 1 in 10 survive. There are just 3 left and also 3 that were vaccinated before hand. I so miss Woody lopping around behind me with Monty in the hope of finding something 'extra' in my bag. *I loved having Mr P stay until I discovered I was allergic to him! Then he started to get very settled and decided that both my garden and Debbies next door belonged to him to race about in. I was so sorry for Tyson, Debbie's Staffordshire Bull Terrier, he was so worried about this strange animal in his garden he would cry and huddle in a corner. The woose! So after the 2nd escape I had to ban Mr P from going loose and a few days later he was sent home again. I bought some chicken doggy biscuits for Tyson from Mr P as an apology, which Debbie said went down very well RE: Not Small Not Caged - twisteroo - 10-01-2012 That's gotta be heart breaking to lose 30 of them. |
