RE: Cupcake Deemed Security Threat - Rhubarb - 12-26-2011

I can feel for this woman.
When we were flying to Norway:
Mark was stopped at Heathrow for the hip flask he was carrying- it had no volume stated on it- it had to either be taken away or, the said unknown volume of liquid (water) had to be disposed of.

Oslo, I realized I was carrying dairy products in the suitcase, which needed to be declared. I declared it, 'No problem, its in your suitcase'
Get through to internal flights and get stopped because of our lunch! The fruit salad was in syrup, so I thought it was that, but no it was the white chocolate mousse- security had never seen the flip lid type (from Tesco)- confiscated, no dairy products allowed- although I was asked if I wanted to eat it there and then. The temptation to hold the queue up of Norgies trying to catch internal flights was SO great and eat it really slowly, I was SO angry. I even showed them in big letters the pot said it had NO dairy or nuts in the product. She still wanted to bin it- I said
'bin it- in your mouth and then you will know all I am doing is seeing my friend in the Arctic. I haven't seen her for 2 years so I have no intention of getting on a plane that isn't going to get there!'

(first time I think Mark has had to apologize for me)

Well, unless they have American federally employed TSA agents working at Heathrow, there goes Havoc's theory.

Horse shit, they work for a government no matter which country they are in.

retarded in retarded out.

Why would retarded gov't workers outside the US be any different than US Gov't workers? How is Havoc's theory really debunked by the fact that the stupidity is common to every gov't?

In fact, it just means that nearly anywhere, gov't workers are retarded.

It's different only because she is going out of her way to disagree with me even if it makes her look like a nut case.

London has a bigger problem than we do, after all that is where many of the terrorists begin their jouney to the US, she has obviously forgotten a few of the facts concerning 9/11 i mean she forgot if she ever knew any of the facts surrounding the 9/11 terrorists and their points of departure.

Regardless of whatever feudin' we have going on here - gov't workers, especially the TSA, are largely a laughing stock.

I buffalo'ed a TSA fuckface once when I was flying home on mid-tour leave (I had to be in uniform) and going through the Dallas-Ft Worth airport. I had to change terminals and go through security again. I was running right on the line, and if I missed this flight, it would be 12-24hrs before I could get another one connecting to Salt Lake to connect to Missoula. I didn't want to lose another day as my leave officially starts when I hit DFW. I was chatting with a few people in line who asked me where I was going and I am sure the TSA monkeys overheard I was in a hurry, and I was going home on mid-tour.

Anyhow, I go through the line up to the scanner thing and deliberately left my boots on to make the dash to the gate - I couldn't risk wasting any time. I also had my belt on. Then I saw him, some guy in a TSA thug faggotface uniform staring me malevolently. Skinny, greasy looking, zitty little fucker - the kind girls tend to detest. I had usurped this little man's last vestige of relevance in this world just trying to get home, and damaged his authority by leaving my combat boots on. THE FUCKING HORROR OF IT ALL.

He looked at me for a few moments like that. You don't stare at me like that without a response. I was without sleep the last 20hrs, I needed a shave, smelt like dust and pollution, my uniform has some dirt on it, and looked bloodthirsty. I knew then I pissed this little fucker off, and then I enjoyed it - I enjoyed calling his bluff to see if this puss would go on a power trip against me. I fucking hate the TSA, and I dared them.

I walked through the scanner and a couple of them looked at me, and this guy was itching to say something, but didn't. I could tell he was one of the millions who, once getting a uniform and a bit of authority, are the biggest cunts to walk the Earth. I smiled and stared at him as I grabbed the rest of my shit and made a dash to break Mercury's fastest record to catch my flight just in time.

Gunnen4u/US Army: 1 TSA & Associated Assholoe Cunts: ZERO

RE: Cupcake Deemed Security Threat - LKTraz - 12-27-2011

You have hit the nail on the head Gunnen.

The TSA agents who do this stupid shits are the same ones who, if given the job of mall security, think they are now the definitive authority figure. Shit.....make them a school crossing guard and they think they are the head of the fuckin' FBI!

These dweebs will assert their "power" so you'd better watch out because they are on the job and have a badge and uniform.

RE: Cupcake Deemed Security Threat - Gunnen4u - 12-27-2011

And are usually of a low-IQ, hired under affirmative action standards/quotas for diversity, and wouldn't hold anything more than a janitor job other wise.

RE: Cupcake Deemed Security Threat - Rhubarb - 12-27-2011

What really pissed Mark off at Heathrow was the way he was frog marched out of the queue to empty his hipflask of water then brought back to the front of the queue go through the scanners 'again' and hand searched again. He went to security to complain about the bloke on the scanner. He reckoned he deliberately hand searched him the second time even though the scanner found nothing. Now you want low IQ go to the security offices.............

The women at Oslo internal flights I think were just trying to get promotion, see how many passengers lunch they could get in the 'forbidden bag'. Internal flights in Norway run like buses, great if you are local, wander down look at the timetable on a touch screen either book the seat on the screen or if you book a daily of weekly flight put a pin number in and off you go. If you fly in from abroad you either are on 'pot-luck' or in the case of us, we were warned and pre-booked seats at Heathrow at the SAS check-in. You need to bring lunch, there is nothing on the flights.
