RE: Something not very publicized - Gunnen4u - 09-11-2011 Another memory I had, if America is all about remembering... I was watching one of the news channels and some nasty cunt was on yammering about the response of the American people to this tragic incident. I think it was CNN. Anyhow, the comparison between this attack and Pearl Harbor was being made with the only caveat that people couldn't just join the military, it wasn't like then, we don't have a real enemy to fight, etc, etc. It was the worse tone of bullshit, and I just listened in amazement as it was emphatically repeated by these hags. It made no sense - someone would have to pay and military might was the thing to do it with. That is when I knew something else was awry with this country, besides the previous problems. RE: Something not very publicized - Gunnen4u - 09-11-2011 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welles_Crowther Something better to talk about. RE: Something not very publicized - LKTraz - 09-11-2011 Most are unaware that many of the policies being implemented or attempted to be today have their roots in ideas brought forth in the Wilson administration. Makes you wonder if Obamacare is nothing more than the groundwork for eugenics? This current atmosphere of political correctness has allowed for the education system to both indoctrinate a great many youth now turned adult to the left side of the fence and as well keep the same people ignorant of what "early 20th century progressives" truly stood for. That is what paved the way for Hillary Clinton to let the cat out of the bag and virtually nobody knew what the hell she meant! The American left has been waiting almost 100 years for the right situation which would allow them to ram their agenda through. RE: Something not very publicized - Twitchin Kitten - 09-11-2011 A big part of our problem is that all the hippies from the 60's and early 70's are now yuppies running the government. Many of them are so stuck on unicorns and rainbows that they fail to see that even if the civilized nations of the world had come to an everlasting peace, there are still desperate nations who have not even begun to catch up to us and see things differently. They're clawing and scratching to survive and they are easily duped by one dictator after another who promises them food and equality, only to find they are screwed yet again while their babies are dying of starvation and they live in squalor. Eventually one of those dictators is going to want what we have and go for it. That's human nature. War has usually been a land grab for domination, more land, power or whatever other stupid thing comes to their feeble minds. these hippies think that if we have no military we will set an example to the rest of the world. Sure we will. It only shows them we'll be easy to conquer. idiots full of idiotic ideals. RE: Something not very publicized - Gunnen4u - 09-11-2011 TK, I stopped thinking in terms of the barbarians at the gates given they are already here and multiplying. This is about something else entirely and LKtraz has it down. It's not about peace or warfare with the Muslims, who in reality, could never take over the use by force of arms regardless, etc. RE: Something not very publicized - LKTraz - 09-11-2011 Twitch did point out a portion of the formula where by the 60' and 70's hippies are now in charge. It's these very same people who are NOW the new era of progressives. The unicorn and rainbow side of it is simply the attractant for (and this is their actual term) the useful idiots. Those being the masses they draw to support them on the ground allowing for them to not get their hands dirty so to speak. The rhetoric about peace and love, political correctness, environmental responsibility and purported altruism is just the front they put forth to enable them to implement their actual agenda behind the scene. Smoke and mirrors if you will. It's the same misdirection that close up magicians use. "Look at what this hand is doing while the other is performing the 'magic' in plain sight." RE: Something not very publicized - Twitchin Kitten - 09-11-2011 That's exactly why those same dirty hippies got the snot beat out of them by us. Yeah, you were allowed to slug someone back then too. All the cops did was break it up and send everyone home. Cant' do that anymore either. Sissy hippies managed to make it so you can't slug each other anymore without serious repercussions. Guys can't be guys anymore. It's all unicorns and rainbows. RE: Something not very publicized - Gunnen4u - 09-12-2011 |
