Is it a T1 ? any other identifer numbers or letters? EOS?

OK it says EOS on the front and on the tag on the bottom it says DS6041 and the lens says on the top EFS 18-55mm . It looks like the lens has a macros 0.28m/0.9ft.
It's a silver body if that has any bearing. I'll know more when Matt brings home the books tomorrow after work.
