I wouldn't know... never seen it :/

It probably is if you recognize it as such. I'm just saying someone was trying to CLAIM that as an SR-91. I never said I believed it Biggrin

Vizzy, I already linked that... right below the picture that I believe is fake Tongue

Sleep deprivation makes me not notice things. XD

Another note about that pic, carriers are really expensive. I don't think they'd risk damage to one by flying a prototype off it.

I'm glad you like the link. I was blown away by it and thought Matt had to see this. A friend who is into model aircraft sent it to us.

Matt would know (when he gets home) if they fly prototypes off carriers. From what I know they usually do those on bases where they have steam tracks installed on the ground to simulate taking off from a carrier.

Pretty sure that is correct as well, which is part of why I doubted the pic. I'm inclined to think Vizzy is right about it being from a movie.

RE: SR-71 Blackbird Model - ralgith - 06-17-2010

In fact, I know Vizzy is right. I just did a google image search for "stealth movie" and it came up with that exact same shot, plus a BUNCH more of that plane, including one with hot assed Jessica Biel in the pilots seat Wink

Doesn't mean they didn't DESIGN it based off the Aurora concept drawings... but it IS NOT an Aurora.
