I just talked to him. He is feeling great and his voice sounded so strong. He says he is more aware of things now then his previous operations on his heart. so hopefully things will continue going great and he'll be back home in a couple months. He was in and out of surgery in just about 4 hrs and his wife was told 5-15 hrs.

I was going to say that the surgery was fast but wasn't sure the official time frame you would have been given. I mean my surgeries took that long and it wasn't heart transplants! I figured it had to be much longer.
Really great news though, good to know everything is going to be alright.

After some recuperation and physical therapy he'll be good to go!!!!

as of today when I talked to him.. they were going to be moving him out of ICU and into a ccu and then maybe to the apartment where he will stay until August then hopefully back to town. his poor wife drives over there every weekend it's about a 6 hr drive.
