I can back up my trailer by myself, thank you very much. Although I can't use mirrors to do it, lucky for me I've never really had a reason to need to, that's probably why.

Hell I can't back up my lawnmower and the little cart that I use.
The cart will go one way and mower will go the other.
So I only go forward with the cart on the back.
Just so you all know I will never ever back up the truck with the boat on the trailer!! It is not going to happen!!
But I can crochet a great handbag, and bake some really good cookies and brownies!!!

Just a tip, the bigger it is the easier it is to back up. Nobody can back up a lawnmower with a cart.
My bicycle is impossible to back up with BOB attached. I mean I can only go backwards a foot or two before the jack knife.

My husband can back up the lawnmower with the cart. I am glad this is not a talent most have though. I try to back it to the compost pile and it only takes me 19-20 tries

What is wrong with everyone? Lawnmower with cart is easy too.
OK Kim, just remember this.... it's all backwards. When you need to back up any trailer the trailer goes the opposite way your wheel turns. If you remember to turn your wheel first, get going about halfway to your 'point' and start turning your wheel the opposite direction, you'll be in, straight and on target every time.
Twistie is right though, the bigger / longer it is, the easier it is to maneuver.

Boy you guys could fuck up a Chinese fire drill. I can back up my lawnmower with a cart too. I was just trying to make her feel better about it. Yeah bigger is better.

I will not back up the truck and trailer with the boat on it!!
I will not back up the truck and the other trailer!!!!
You don't all get it!! If I don't do it, There is nothing I can do wrong!!!
And beside that I just can't do it!!!
I don't want to learn how!!
If I don't know how and can't do it. I can do nothing wrong!!!
See that way I'm in the clear!!
As for the mower and cart! Trust me I have worked on it, I just can't do it!!
So I go forward and call it a day!!
