First read this while in the diner tonite. Laughed my ass off. I'm with Twist, it's funny as hell.
Why are you so shocked at their age? By age 5 they learned a whole lot of cussing and how to use it just from listening to their parents!

I'm not shocked about what they said- after all kids speak their mind at that age, and so they should.
It was the fact they were being called into school to discuss the 'implications of racial abuse'
Not at 5 years old - it will affect them more getting called in the office than if the teacher had just let it go.
5 years old are in and out of being friends every day.
Izzy is quite sweet- she was in today telling tales on her teacher, not only did she see her in the doctor's waiting room today but she also saw her going in to the supermarket shopping
as if teachers weren't allowed to have a personal life

The kids had no idea it was 'racial' anyway. They were just being 5 years old. I think the teacher making an issue of it is the bigger problem.

I'm going to go be a barfly tonight and go out to the boardwalk to see our favorite rockabilly band.
Tomorrow Social Distortion plays up at Asbury. Might chance tix at the door there.
Anyone got any fun plans for this weekend?
Today is also the first day of summer!

Then collecting my new glasses- so I can see at work :p
Weather is going to be crap for the weekend, so the quickie trip to Cornwall is cancelled.
So cooking and wine tasting and piggie bonding .... but not at the same time

I have a charity bike ride tomorrow morning that starts at 7am, I'll be up about 4 then off to pick up my buddy about 5am.
Then I'm on vacation the rest of the week. WooHoo!!!
