0 Did I see Val Kilmer in there?
That looked too much like 10,000 BC or whatever it was called... lots of special effects, little story and some really bad acting. I'm kind of burned out on that kind of movie. And just because I'm cranky this morning, what's with all the damn remakes? Aren't there any original stories anymore?

0 I'm with you on all the remakes lately. Seems Hollywood has lost all imagination and creativity but this one IS a good one to remake. The story is a good one as I remember but the animations and special effects were pure crap. This one is deserving of modernization. I just hope they didn't put too much crap into the story and stuck with the original and just punched up the effects.

0 By the way, I LIKE claymation, I think those old Sinbad and Jason movies are fantastic... it was Harry Hamlin that ruined the first one for me, I've always thought he was kind of fug.

0 The CGA looks good and it appears that they are following the mold of the original but you won't know till you see it.

0 This movie's getting TERRIBLE reviews. I guess part of the problem is that they didn't actually film this for 3D and tacked it on afterwards, so the colors and clarity are off.

0 Go figure. Other times the critics have given good reviews to movies with stunning cinematography and graphics and a stinker of a a plot so it stands to reason.
