Updates from my gerbils

I went to visit a friend who runs a gerbil rescue in Dundee, Indy's Rascals. She has an older lone female who we are going to try and introduce to Bella (as you might have read she lost Alice a few weeks ago). Nicki is kindly doing the intros for me as she has bags of experience with introductions and I know female intros can be a bit more difficult.

On another note, Toby a gerbil I rescued a few weeks back who was very scared and virtually unhandleable is busy being introduced to another rescue gerbil called Shadow and they are both doing really well...Nicki certainly is doing great with them both and I hope that they will find a lovely happy home together

It's nice when you have success stories isn't it? I always found I had to take extra time to pay extra attention and give more playtime with me to the animals that wound up having to live alone due to incompatibility or just being the last one alive out of the colony.
