Bush fires in the cityyyyy - I even made it rhyme!
But seriously though - Rural South Australia has been at catastrophic (red alert) level bushfire risk. Metropolitan (thats us) has a Severe risk (yellow alert) and with tropical typhoon Laurence heading our way tonight - it's been down graded, but still high winds are going to propel any fires. It's starting to cloud over, so I'm praying for rain. But just in case our bags our packed, kitty carriers ready and if we're upgraded before Brian gets home I'll start walking into town.
I don't scare easily, but I've got to admit, this scares me - and it's only the middle of the season.
