I just can't see how he equates to Osama Bin Laden like "everyone" says/does.

He is contemptible, megalomaniac, and borderline communist. He's drunk with power and he does not hesitate to force his will. Congress and the senate are weak-kneed, spineless blobs of useless goo that seems to cave in to some kind of bullshit compromise than grow a pair and do what their constituents want.

Then we have the young people who have been brainwashed to think that doing something good for themselves is tantamount to being a cold heartless fucktard. You see those ads for Target about buying some fugly-assed clothing full of "help them" messages? Way to make you feel guilty for shopping for clothing that you might actually like. These very same jelly-brains will not mind the intrusion into their lives because they haven't got a clue.

He equates to Bin Laden because they're both terrorists. One foreign, and one domestic. Which is why it pisses me off that the military hasn't just blown his face off yet. Their oath is to protect from all enemies, foreign and domestic. Dammit all. >_<

There is a part about protecting the Office of the Presidency, but I'm not sure on the exact wording

Because it is more complicated than that. Ethics and ethical orders are quite an in depth gray area of discussion we had to do at junior leadership courses.

At the same time, how seriously is an oath taken?

Frankly, is all about the paycheck in my case and in that of many other people. I never had much patriotic fervor in me, and I could give a shit less what happens overall to the entity that is our gov't and the body politic that is our country.

All the things that happen in gov't are the result of the voter letting them happen, or even putting people in office to make it happen, or the people in office hiring bureaucrats, etc.
