He runs a village because the people put him there, people who ALSO believe in this. Democracy in action?

At any rate: I think it is neat there are villages and other places in Europe where these superstitions still exist. I dunno why really, it just is. I always thought the Balkans and Eastern Europe to be cool like that.

Yeah It is kind of fun to see some things like this still exist. I just don't think town leaders should send the general public into a panic over it though. I mean really, has he seen anyone get the blood sucked out of them and turn into a vampire this entire time he thought one was living there? The whole village should be vampires by now!
