Bike round up
http://thebatavian.com/howard-owens/phot...avia/33353
So a bunch of Harley pussies got together to show of their bikes with almost no road miles on them and thousands of dollars worth of Harley logo shit. The only thing that was missing was an 82 Honda Silverwing. Next year bitches, next year. |

RE: Bike round up
HD's look nice and all but the point that they are an "American Made Bike" no longer holds water. Yeah they are an American based company but many parts are manufactured elsewhere and the bikes are ASSEMBLED in the USA.
I'd sooner lay my hands on one of these old boys. V65 Magna reduced.jpg (Size: 34.22 KB / Downloads: 24)
Good looks, rip your arms off power and acceleration AND the are a comfy cruiser! Can't beat that with a big old stick. ![]() ![]() |

Yeah, and that one Harley guy had a sparkle in his eye when he was talking about the full tank of gas, the joint in his pocket and only needing one thing. I think that bastard winked at me.

RE: Bike round up
Weird. Every time I toured the plant in York, Pa. they had machines making parts. Unless they changed dramatically in 10 years, they boasted all American made.
I like the HD's and no amount of you girls whining about them will change my mind. I've ridden all kinds of bikes but for me it's the balance and feel of the HD that I like. Twilla, I used to bitch to my ex for not investing when they made their comeback all the time. He thought I was nuts. I had a small investment in them when I had an IRA but my ex stopped paying into that and I had to cash it out before I lost it all. A whopping $500. Woo hoo. I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

RE: Bike round up
I've had the thought to invest in a couple of companies in the past but didn't for some stupid reason. Amazon and netflix. Believe it or not, I found amazon when all they sold were books online and I remember thinking they were going to be huge. Little did I know just how huge. And I had no idea that netflix would basically bankrupt all the big rental stores with their success. I could be pretty well off right now, I bet.

RE: Bike round up
Research shows that 95% of all Harleys ever made are still on the road,
the other 5% made it home.

That's only the AMF Harley's, twist
![]() Twilla, I found amazon when they only had books too. I love them. You never wait more than 5 days for your order no matter what they say. I have no idea what you're talking about so here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head

RE: Bike round up
HD now imports a sizeable amount of "bolt on" parts. The engines are still US produced as is the frame but those are the only 2 pieces that are certain to be made here. All other parts are subject to being made elsewhere. This happened in the last 6 years.
The only motorcycle made 100% in the US at this time is Victory (surprised me with that one!) Beside that.....I've always preferred Japanese bikes over one lungers and V-twins. ![]() ![]() |
