I like both characters equally. Sharona's accent played right into her aggressive and protective personality. Natalie was more the spunky type and grew with Mr Monk.

I wish - wait ... Want me to record my answer to him? you can post it and I'll make sure I'm really wound up so my accent is very thick. The only thing is my accent is Brooklyn and sharona's is Jersey. The dope probably can't tell the difference.

I like both as well. They complimented Monk in different ways and helped to highlight both his quirks and progress (or lack thereof) in dealing with them.

Hell.....I know Jersey Metro accents from the Boroughs and L.I.

There's subtle differences in tonality, accentuation of structure and how hard certain vowels and consonants are either hit or dropped.

Whoever posted that must think they are some sort of "expert" on character interaction or something.

Sigh... so much for a nice, newly remodeled kitchen. The roof blew yesterday during the storms. It was leaky and we were hoping to wait until the fall to replace it because it's much cooler out but nooooo, the shit hit the fan and the entire kitchen counter was soaked on the first rain. All the paint bubbled up and the tape on the seams are pulled and wrinkled. Matt had it patched and it was working nicely, but apparently the water is finding other ways under the shingles.

So now we have to do the roof and pull the cabinets down again and replace sheetrock along the counter backsplash and repaint.

Why is it when we are just beginning to make financial headway something always kicks us in the ass and takes us a giant step backward?

You know what really pisses me off is having kids that think they can take you for granted all the time.
They think just because you're their mother they can run all over you in anything you say & then go talk to other people about their problems & you're suppose to know what's going on & then have pity for them.
