I can feel for this woman.
When we were flying to Norway:
Mark was stopped at Heathrow for the hip flask he was carrying- it had no volume stated on it- it had to either be taken away or, the said unknown volume of liquid (water) had to be disposed of.
Oslo, I realized I was carrying dairy products in the suitcase, which needed to be declared. I declared it, 'No problem, its in your suitcase'
Get through to internal flights and get stopped because of our lunch! The fruit salad was in syrup, so I thought it was that, but no it was the white chocolate mousse- security had never seen the flip lid type (from Tesco)- confiscated, no dairy products allowed- although I was asked if I wanted to eat it there and then. The temptation to hold the queue up of Norgies trying to catch internal flights was SO great and eat it really slowly, I was SO angry. I even showed them in big letters the pot said it had NO dairy or nuts in the product. She still wanted to bin it- I said
'bin it- in your mouth and then you will know all I am doing is seeing my friend in the Arctic. I haven't seen her for 2 years so I have no intention of getting on a plane that isn't going to get there!'
(first time I think Mark has had to apologize for me)
