I often wonder if these animals know they are suffering.
Yes I know sometimes it is obviously that some animals are incarcerated unfairly and it should be dealt with promptly...but just sometimes I wonder the logic. There is a Free Range Chicken farm on the way to the ferry for the island. The last two trips we had gone to say, 'Aww, look at all the Chookies scratching in the field' Only to find them all on a fence post squashed together squabbling over space! Well that organization is as crooked as they come and have been known to have a hand in getting lawsuits against them, with hard evidence in favor of prosecution at that, finding them not guilty. The last one I know of was the mass amounts of dead animals employees were caught dumping into dumpsters.

PeTA is a whining bunch of well funded misguided hypocritical assholes.
My company has to deal with their whining shit with a plethora of dumb concepts. We now must have these "varieties" of eggs for our products: Cage Free American Cage Free Humane Cage Free American Humane Cage Free Free Range Humane Free Range Organic Cage Free Organic Humane Cage Free Organic Humane Free Range There's small differences between these "varieties" in that it's EXACTLY how the chickens are kept and the eggs are collected. FUCKING BULLSHIT! An egg is an egg is an egg! I could make something with eggs from battery cage chickens and serve it to these dickcheese motherfuckers and then TELL them it's one of these varieties and they wouldn't notice ANY difference! We just end up PAYING more for the eggs due to the shit the farmers must "comply with" in order to get that classification. The big joke is that Organic Humane Cage Free is eggs from chickens that are fed "all natural" feed and can roam around their coop laying eggs in their own shit while they are "spoken to kindly". They must be hand gathered and hand washed with water only. Sounds kinda like egg gathering 200 years ago (with the exception of speaking kindly to the chickens) now doesn't it? The pisser here is that there's no way of telling if that egg was laid just today or if it was missed and had been laying out for several days. But these are supposed to be "healthier" for both you and the chickens! FUCKING HIPPIE NUT JOBS!!!!!!!!!!! |
