Gourmet caramel apples

Now those were a pain in the ass to eat, you would lick and gnaw and crack a tooth or two before you finally got that first crack through the hard candy. Then after all that sugar the apple tasted like shit anyway.

You know what's a pain in the ass to eat? A chocolate covered frozen banana on a stick. Those little bastards are tough when they're frozen and you end up gnawing on them... you wouldn't believe some of the looks I've gotten at the fair while walking around trying to eat one.

I Loooooove frozen bananas from Disneyland. They are best to eat in the warm weather so they can defrost as you are eating them.

My mom used to make apple pie on a cookie sheet, cut it into squares and freeze it. I bet I ate an acre of frozen apple pie when I was a kid.
Her idea was to thaw it and eat it, but who can wait that long? It was before we all had microwaves too.
