Poor Charlie Rangel. He's been found guilty on all charges of ethics violations and he's now on the TV whining how no one gave him a chance to prove himself innocent. Poor Charlie feels the panel didn't understand anything.

He's whining that he didn't get a chance to question witnesses etc. He came in on Monday, announced he's recusing himself and walked out of his own hearing.

I honestly think he's losing his mind. The poor guy really didn't understand what anyone said to him today in his sentencing.

They censured him. I think that's the highest punishment, isn't it?

Censure is just under expulsion. THAT is also being discussed.

I mean come on......11 charges? I think his contention that he didn't KNOWINGLY violate any rules is complete shit. He's been a Senator for HOW long?

I only felt sorry for him in the sense that he sounded insane making his comments on his own behalf.

Censure is a slap on the wrist. I am not sure they are discussing expulsion.

As for the "11" charges - technically those are 12. They combined #'s 11 & 12 into one charge. I forget which one he got off on.

Twilla, yeah, Sheen should be in jail and never let out. One of these days he's going to kill someone and have the nerve to think he can get away with it. I'm surprised he hasn't already.

The irritating thing about this is, you know MOST of the scum in politics are behaving very similarly. Charlie just got caught. They all condemn and preach to everyone else and they are all more crooked than a country road. Bastards.
