Okay folks... This was spawned by an old concept and its creative muse was given to me by the assholes in the news....

based on the good idea bad idea premise.

Lets take Hurricane Earl and its preparing for it as a starting point...

The victims to be well they should...

HelpAmbu

1) Pack their shit 24 hours ahead of time
a) taking with them
1) clothing,
2) food
3) water
4) batteries
5) blankets and pillow

They shouldn't

FingerDrumsDevil

1) Video the Waves as they mount to 15 feet which happens to be two feet below the roof of their trailor!

2) Pack necessities such as aunt nina's lamp and the last remaining condom that john wore yesterday....

They should

2) Gas up before hitting the ole highway cause their not the only one of the 500,000 evacuating from some districts

Now these are just examples of some of the problems I have seen in hurricane survival moments some folks pack the most unrealistic things INCLUDING believing that (after a horrible storm such as what many are now facing) that the power will be on water will be drinkable and ATMS and CELL PHONES will all be Functioning...

I am not making light of this I am pointing out the irony of what is about to happen as I have seen in the news in the last twenty four hours some people who spoke up and said well... I guess I need some water and some food and well maybe some batteries for a day or two or something like that junk or stuff or things maybe... but I think I will ride it out...

I hate leaving it's a terrible pain in my butt cause I paid all the money for this house this week and they are MAKING ME LEAVE....... Oh stop whining... hey if the authorities let them stay they will stop whining cause they will drown and we wont hear it anymore.

I have rode out a cat one storm myself.. but I wasn't under mandatory evac and I was one block from my shelter. I was packed supplied and the storm hit over 100 miles away. I don't care to go through a cat 3 storm and I pray for all those out there about too

SO I want too know should they Pack their teddy bear or a bottle of water? What have you hear in they knews that they should and shouldn't do now days?HelpSkull

This just in and remembered

Clap

To the attentive tourist in NJ

They should...

Stay out of the water during rip tides from hurricanes

They should also

Be thankful to the busy life guards on one stretch of beach that made over 70 rescues in one day due to hurricane rip tides this week
