Meet Sofie

They sure do move right in.
Last night when Scruff got back from the vet we took him in the back shed leading into the kitchen before we let him out of the carrier, so we could give him some yummy canned food. Well he still didn't know where he was because he's never been inside before, but he did relax and eat his food.
Now the little bastard walks right in like he owns the joint if the door don't close fast enough.

Sounds like my Fugly! Fugly hung around the house for a year before he decided we were good enough to live with.

He actually ran off if you caught his eye from the window or outside. One day, he decided that he had enough cold weather and winter and when I opened the door to go out to the barn, he strolls right in as if he's been doing it all his life. Went right to the fireplace and plunked down to claim his spot. He was one of the best cats I've ever had.

I was owned by Bess for 19 years! Her brother, Porgy, slobbed about the place, he owned No1 son, he thought.

I'm looking after Ra my friends 'hairless cat' this weekend. She text to say she had been let down by her son (same age as No1). So I said 'Get Ra to leave out his orders and I'll be over'. I asked if the chickens needed anything, but they are going to 'Aunty Mo' (thought there may have been some eggs).
She said to go over when ever and use the pool if the weather was good. That's nice of her, I forgot about the pool.

Oh the pool is a bonus! We're having one of the hottest August's that I can remember this year. I am so loving the pool!

Well, she's confiscated Matt's computer chair and managed to pile it with fur to make it her own! I woke her up for these. Hopefully I can get more with her eyes open later.

Oh yeah, Monday.....zzfffftttttt.....off come the balls. Shhhhhhh....he doesn't know yet.

Scruffy is quite handsome. He's an unusual color or is that old matted hair working it's way off him in exchange for new shiny fur from all the good food he's been getting now?

She found a new spot besides the chair... the little blue bed no one else can fit into behind the table between the two sofas.

Scruffy's hair....gee, I dunno, I think it's just the color, he is scruffy after all.

Sofie's second picture...when they squint at you they say that is their way of smiling, and the third pic is so cute it's almost obscene.
