Oval Office Speech

This was the biggest CYA "cuz I have no clue what to do but I hired some people to figure it out" speech I ever heard. Jimmy Carter's malaise speech was better and that's saying a lot.

I mean, he had no solutions. He JUST got together these 'committees' to figure a solution to this? What about the other 60 days?! WHY hasn't he come up with a back up plan the first week of this disaster "in case BP can't fix it swiftly"??

Invoking God's hand to guide "us" in this endeavor was laughable. Is he going to sit back and wait for a sign from God to proceed with action?

I pray (pun intended!) for this president to make a speech and actually say something definitive, without blame and without preparing us for more taxes to come.
