5 Charged for Beating Ga. Woman, Forcing Her in Cage


ATLANTA-- Five people are being held in the Fulton County Jail facing charges of beating a 21-year-old woman and forcing her into a cage.

Fulton County officials told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the woman was apparently a prostitute and was being punished for escaping from her pimp.

Parker said the woman was taken to Grady Hospital for treatment of her injuries after she was found Friday in a hotel room off of Fulton Industrial Boulevard near Interstate 20.

Parker said the man who police believe ordered the punishment, 27-year-old David Lee Walker, is in jail and faces assault, battery, kidnapping and pimping charges.

She said Walker allegedly ordered four other women to beat the woman and place her in the cage.
