Why it took me two years to buy this is beyond me, but goddamn if this wasn't the best unjustifiable $50 I ever spent. 
Got myself an extra [almost] 2" of reach with this and it doesn't even bother Matt. No more banging my knees on the dash. No more fear that if the airbag goes off I'm losing my lower jaw. Well, Still fear that and the fact that the replacement part for the defective airbags for my car's recall hasn't come in yet and it's a friggin' year now.
The pic is from their site for a clutch without the metal adornment. Mine are metal.
