So basically he's an idiot. Erm... was an idiot.

Generally people who want a warm winter flop will do something like break a jewelry store front window and just wait for the cops. That's usually good for 90-120 days in the local or county jail . Then....start a fight in jail for an additional 30-60 days which will carry through to warm weather again.
