No, it isn't... but that particular clay IS full of nutrients. And a lot of them actually like it. It's freaky.

There are medicines using forms of clay too.
Kaolin & Morphine being one (and no it's not the morphine that has the effect- at 0.001% it isn't doing much)

Wouldn't think it's a good idea to use it to diet with- get constipated pretty badly
