There's plenty of seasoned citizens who can still get on the floor and let the music move them. Being that we play at quite a few VFW, American Legion, Moose and Elks halls we see it all the time.
There's one old couple that comes to see us at their local VFW and they are on the floor probably 80% of the time we're playing! The gent is a Nam vet and I do an intro to Paint It Black that puts a lump in his throat. He always comes up after the song and thanks us by name!
Next time we play at Milton we'll take video of the one old gal who is on the floor dancing and can pull it off even while towing her oxygen cart!!!!!! She's only good for 2 maybe 3 songs a night but, there she is.
Gotta say, that big girl is pretty surprizing with what she can do!
