I only had to skim the article to know I agree with him. Advice from my parents to always have a trade to fall back on was sound. Skilled labor yields more or as much money as any pencil pusher these days and have always been in demand. The guy at the desk in a suit and tie with the soft hands and manicure needs a skilled tradesman to do his work. Auto mechanics up here easily get $109.00 per HOUR plus the cost of parts. Not bad for a 'grease monkey'. If I went back to work cutting hair I can demand $60 for a simple dye job. That's not including my tip. Anything less than 20% is a stingy customer. You need me to look good at that desk. Flowbe doesn't cut it
