It is the wrench to loosen and remove the crank arms and or front gears and derailer, you tricked me by not having it in the two pieces.

Yeah that's true, I forgot it's attached to the frame tube. The tool definitely takes off the crank arms and the shaft and front gear set can then be pulled off.

I'm pretty sure the three of us are saying the same thing.

Anthony is right, it is a crank puller.
I met a crank puller at a truck stop once, she looked nothing like this though.
